A-Frame Cabins

Free-standing and offering more privacy, the A-Frame Cabins are a popular accommodation. There are four A-frame cabins. Three can accommodate up to four people. There is a queen bed downstairs and two twin beds in the loft. The fourth cabin is for up to two people and has a queen bed.

Downstairs is a private bath with shower, queen bed, table/chairs, and a small microwave and refrigerator. Upstairs in the private loft there are two twin beds.

Maximum occupancy is 4 people, regardless of age, no exceptions. Occupancy limits are strictly enforced to comply with state fire laws and our insurance carrier. The Aspen Inn will not tolerate any disregard of these occupancy limits. All cabins are non-smoking.

Suites

There are four suites with dining areas. Three suites can accommodate up to two people, and the fourth accommodates up to four people. All have queen beds, sofas, table, chairs, microwave and refrigerator.

Perfect for those who need a little extra room, the Family Suite has a bedroom with two queen beds, and a living area with a queen sleeper sofa. There is a large private bath with shower, and the dining area has a small refrigerator and microwave, table and chairs.

Maximum occupancy is 6 people, regardless of age, no exceptions. Occupancy limits are strictly enforced to comply with state fire laws and our insurance carrier. The Aspen Inn will not tolerate any disregard of these occupancy limits.

Standard Rooms

There are four standard rooms. Two rooms can accommodate up to two guests and the other two rooms accommodate up to four guests. All rooms are non-smoking.

The standard suites are perfect for those that need a little extra elbow room. In addition to the queen bed and private bath with shower, there is a sitting area with a couch, and an eating area with a small refrigerator and microwave, table and chairs. Note: The couch in the sitting area will open to make a queen bed, however, this is better suited to children and not recommended for adults.

The Wagon House

The Wagon House is 1000 sq. ft. and includes two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, living room with picnic table, pool table and couch. Guests enjoy a private bar-b-que grill and private parking. It is non-smoking with no minimum night stay.

One bedroom has two queen beds and the other has two double beds. Nothing is missing in the kitchen, and if it is we’ll supply it for you. The Wagon House is a non-smoking facility with no minimum night stay.

Wagon House History

Moved from the Fort Klamath historic site to its present location in the early 1900’s, the original hand hewn beam and wood floors will take you to the rugged days of the west.

Built approximately 130 years ago, the wagon shed, as it was referred to then, housed all the necessary tools and materials to build and maintain the Fort’s wagons.

Fort Klamath was a Frontier Military Post from 1863 to 1890, originally established to keep peace among the Klamath, Modoc and Yahooskin tribes. Another duty of the Fort was keeping peace between the settlers and the Indians. Winters were brutal, supplies were scarce, and day-to-day living was difficult at best.

So if you like history, consider a stay at the Wagon House a chance of a lifetime.

Amenities

Rooms and the Inn…

Playground

There is a large play area and swingset for children and a swinging bench for adults. There is plenty of open space for picnics and get togethers.

Parking

There is plenty of free parking available at the Aspen Inn on the Aspen Inn property for all guests.

Breakfast

We are not licensed to provide breakfast. However, we do offer complimentary hot beverages (coffee, tea, cocoa and cider) from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Air Conditioning/Heating

We now have air conditioning for each room! In summer, daytime temps can reach the mid-nineties. However, night-time temps will drop into the low fifties to low sixties. Each accommodation has, at least, a couple of fans, and good screens on the windows. Around here we enjoy cool nights, sleeping with the fans on and the windows open, listening to country sounds. As for heating…Each room has efficient electric heaters to keep you warm and toasty.

Cooking

Cooking is not allowed in any rooms EXCEPT by microwave. Cooking odors are difficult to remove. We have a nice gas bbq grill with an additional burner for pot or pan. The grill is located on the cooking patio next to the office and is available until 10:00 p.m. Guests are responsible for a $150/night cleaning fee if management determines they have cooked in the room.

WiFi/Television

The Aspen Inn is in a very rural location with limited services. We do not have television, however, we do have free, reliable WI-FI, with an option to upgrade to an ultra-broadband service that allows for streaming.
